IMG_0348Hi!  I’m Seb, I’m 6 years old and I love footy.  I have lots of friends that play photofooty and I have fun playing with them at school and at auskick every week.  Footy helps me keep fit, have fun and learn about friends and team mates.

1G6X4423 by you.My mum helps me work on this blog because I love the Western Bulldogs.  I live in the south eastern suburbs of Melbourne and can’t make it across to Footscray very often to see the boys train at the Whitten Oval and it’s hard for me to make it to the Doggies events and fun days.

So, this is my way to contribute and play my part towards a Dogs Victory!

Join me, and my mum, as we add lots of fun and interesting footy stuff to my blog.  And please feel free to contribute by leaving comments or contacting me whenever you like (email me at jsparke@optusnet.com.au)

 Thanks…..and Go Dogs!!

IMG_0163Words from Mum - “This site exists because of Seb’s passion for all things footy and the mighty Western Bulldogs.  There is NO denying his passion - he eats, sleeps and talks footy & the Dogs every second of the day.  Plays footy in the morning, at school and before bed.  Then pops on his Bulldogs PJ’s and falls to sleep while watching the 2008 Dogs Highlights DVD!  Eventhough I (his mum) maintain this site and post the posts etc, Seb has plenty of input and helps search the web for Doggies news and other related footy stuff.  GoDoggies will always be here for him as he grows and his passion for footy intensifies.  Eventually he will be old enough the take over and maintain the site himself.  Until then it remains a wonderful tool for me to share my boys passion, enthusiasm & dedication as well as with other footy fans, Doggies fans and the world”.  ~ Jodie Sparke

  1. Hi there Seb great page mate!

Well I live over in the west and had breakfast this morning at one of our local spots and thought you would be excited to know that I saw ‘Acka’ there having coffee.
Also Tennille’s daughter Maddy who is also 6 is a doggies fan too so you have some other support over in the west.

    xo
    Tina

    • Hi Tina,

I can’t believe you saw Aker – You’re lucky. I hope I would be brave enough to say hi if I saw him.
Hi Maddy, I’m glad you go for the Dogs too! :)

      ~ Seb

  2. Seb, I’m impressed with your site. I live in Sydney, so I don’t get to see the mighty Dogs very often myself, but I watch them on TV every chance I get.
    Go Dogs!

    • Thanks Jean. I like to watch the Dogs on TV too….at least it’s warmer at home :)
      ~ Seb

      • Seb, I’m going to Canberra on Saturday; I think it will be freezing, but it’s the only chance I’ll get to see the boys in action this year. You stay warm and cheer as loudly as you can-I’ll be doing my best at Manuka.

  3. Hey Seb, this is a great site for all doggies fans… I am a bit jealous cause I have a site too and I dont have half as much stuff on it as you do!!

Good onya mate, keep supporting the Doggies and keep smiling!!

    Cheers, Nat.

    • Thanks Nat.
My mum likes your site too Nat, and she has posted on your forums a couple of times.
      ~ Seb

  4. Hi Seb, Great site. I’m also a Western Bulldogs supporter and i have lived in the eastern suburbs for a long time now. I have also like the Bulldogs for some reason but i think it is the spirit of the club make me proud of supporting the doggies. The spirit was shown in the geelong game when the boys just kept on coming and we nearly beat them in the end. Hopefully one day will see our 2n premiership the being avery long time ago in 1954. Good on you, keep supporting the dogs through and through

    Jeremy

    Chee

    • Thanks Jeremy. I have found lots more Dogs fans in the eastern suburbs sinc I started this site. Go Dogs, I know they can do it.
      ~ Seb

  5. Seb, what did you think of today’s game? We were sitting near the right pocket when the Dogs scored all those goals in the second quarter. There were mostly Swans fans, but quite a few (very happy) Dogs fans too. It was cold, but we cheered a lot which warmed us up a lot.
    Go Dogs!

    • Hi Jean…What can else can I say GO DOGS! That was so cool, I was so happy that they played so well. I’m sure it was cold, even Lindsey Gilbee said so in an interview after the game. I hope they play good against the tigers on Firday. My friends at school barrack for Richmond, so sometimes I feel like the tigers are my 2nd team (only sometimes…not on Friday though) Mum said we can’t go to the game on Friday cause we have people coming to watch the game at home, so I’ll be watching this one on TV.
      ~ Seb

  6. Hey Seb!

Great Job here mate! I reckon Robbie Murphy would love your blog, seeing as though he is a writer himself. I’ll see if I can’t get him to check it out.

    Auntie Razzle

    (go blues!)

    • Thanks Auntie Razzle. Do you know Robert Murphy??? I’d love Murphy to check it out, that would be awesome! Murphy is my Dad’s fav player….mine is Aker, but I love to watch Murphy too. I’m so glad he’s back this week. I saw him out the front of the G once but he was too busy so I didn’t get to go say hi. I am going to train with the Dogs for a day on the 1st of July and I wonder if Murphy and the other boys will be there. I can’t wait, I’m so excited.
Thanks for checking out my site, my mum helps me but I have so much fun looking through and choosing the stuff with her. She told me that she recognised your name from HerFooty.com.au – She has just become a moderator for the Dogs on the forums there. She said she’ll see you around! :)
Hey, the Blues did so well last night against the saints. I really enjoyed watching it. Mum let me watch the whole game on the telly, even though it was late and I had to get up early for auskick in the morning. One of my friends at footy goes for the Blues and he was happy thismorning, even though they lost. But he was proud that they tried so hard.
Let me know if you get Murphy to visit my site!
      ~ Seb

      • Yes Seb I do. I have given Robbie the details of your blog and he is really looking forward to checking it out. Keep an eye out for him, he will pop by and say hello very soon! Blues were very good against the saints but not so good against the Bombers. Hopefully we can turn it around this weekend. Keep up the good work and we will see mum on herfooty.com.au soon!
        :)

      • Hi Seb,

I think someone pretty neat has checked out your blogged and is pretty impressed. Check out your guest book :)

  7. Hey Seb, it is Jeremy here again, did you watch the game on Saturday night. Fantastic performace by the Bulldogs 93 points. We had like 100 more possessions than Port Adelaide. Even though we don’t have a key forward it is good that we are sharing the goals around and not relying solely on one player. A number of players had 3 goals each. It was an all round performance and I think now we can definitely secure a top 4 finish and really give the premiership a shake. Keep up the good work for the site and go doggies!

    Jeremy

    • Hey Jeremy,
I did see that game against port – the dogs were so good!
Hopefully we can do the same against Nth this week. I am going to the game on Sunday, so I’ll try to cheer them on nice and load. I hope it doesn’t rain so my mum and dad let me sit by the boundary.
Guess what! I am going to the ‘train with the team day’ at whitten oval on Wednesday. Some of the players will be there I get to hang out woth them all a day and learn heaps of footy stuff with them. I can’t wait :)
Hope you watch the game this week – Go Dogs!!!
      ~ Seb

  8. Yeah I think we should beat Nth Melb Comfortbaly at the MCG. Hope you had a good time at the Whitten Oval with the players at training Lindsay Gilbee will be a big loss for us on Sunday.

  9. Seb, did you have a good time at the game? It was a bit closer than we would have liked, but in the end the mighty Dogs came through. Did mum and dad let you sit down by the boundary? Gilbee did play which was good, but now it looks as if Gia will be out for the next six weeks, which is a blow to us.
Is it tomorrow you are going to Whitten Oval? I hope you have a fabulous day. Can you get some photos to post here so we can share it with you? That would be great.

  10. Hi Jean. I had a great day at the game on Sunday. It was close though, I started to get worried they Nth would beat us. I didn’t get to sit at the boundary this time cause we were a bit late and I was with some other friends too (they barrack for Nth!!!) But it was good to be there anyway – we actually got to sit in the MCG members area as my friends mum works for the G.
Yep it is tomorrow that I go the the Whitten Oval. I can’t wait to meet some of the players and learn some more footy stuff. I wonder if Gia will be there??
My mum and dad have borrowed a really good digital zoom camera so I will hopefully have some great shots to put on thie site to show everyone.
Mum’s telling that I should go to bed and get some rest as we have to be at the ground by 9 tomorrow, so we’ll be up early. bye :)
    ~ Seb

  11. Seb , How are you my man? I’m really impressed with your bulldogs guest book! I wanted to quickly congratulate you on that.I think we have a mutual friend in your aunty razzle… A little birdy told me that you have an interest in writing as well as your bulldogs , something tells me that you and i would get along famously Seb. It’s great to hear from people as passionate as you Seb and the fact that you’re a bulldogs man is just a lovely bonus to the world! I’ve got to nick off now , must prepare to beat the nasty hawks.
    go dogs. woof woof.
    Robert Murphy#2

    • Hey Murph!! Thanks heaps for dropping by :) Glad you like my site, mum and I have so much fun playing round with it. I came to the Whitten Oval on Wednesday for the train with the team day – I saw you do a little bit of training & I really liked your gym set up inside. Mum & Dad said they didn’t blame you for not hanging around all day….it was pretty cold! I hope Aker is feeling better too. I had a great day and had so much fun. Did you check out some of the pics in my photo album.
Well I’m coming along to the game tonight and looking forward to a great game.
Good luck!! Great to talk to you :) :)
      Go Dogs
      ~ Seb (& mum Jodie)

  12. Hi Seb great site mate. l hope you were there to see those amazing Dogs smash the Hawks. The crowd was so loud it was fantastic.

    Go Doggies.

  13. Hey Seb,

Love your website & your passion for our beloved Bulldogs! I remember as a kid I would go out to watch the Doggies train. Dougie Hawkins & Chris Grant were always my fav, but now Bobby Murphy with this exceptional skill and sharp wit is mine. Though I’d be lying if Griffen, Hill, Hahn & Big Will didn’t get a mention. Great work on getting Bob onto your site, hopefully a few more follow :-)

You must have been very happy with our amazing win last night. Sadly I wasn’t able to make it but I did see Big Will and Huddo that night which was great.

Fingers crossed for a big finish to 09′ and keep up the good work ;-)

    Go Doggies,

    Chris N

  14. Great site there young man!! Very well done, you must have been so proud of the boys on Saturday night, they were awsome!! GO DOGGIES!!!!

    • Hi Rocket,
Thanks so much for visiting my site. What a great win it was on Saturday night. I hope one day I can play AFL football like the big boys, I love to watch them and I pretend to play them at home. I would love to come to training one day, thanks :)
I hope you stay at the Bulldogs! GO DOGS
      ~ Seb

  16. Nice work getting Rocket and Murph on here! Excellent site too! I saw Gia eating scrambled eggs at a cafe near my place the other day. I found out later it was the same day he had his knee operation. I don’t think those two things are related though.

  17. Hey Seb,

Cool site. You and your mum should be proud of what you have created.

Did you enjoy the game on Saturday night? I couldn’t stop smiling all the way home on the train to Mooroolbark. Even if it was cold and the trains were running late, winning and playing the way we did was fantastic.

Pretty cool that Bob Murphy and Rocket sent you a message.

Kepp up the great work mate and GO DOGS.

    Craig

    • Hi Craig,
I loved the game on Saturday night. We were sitting right down near the bounday just to the left of the goals. Go the mighty Dogs, they ate up the hawks!!
Thanks for visiting, have you cj=hecked out some of the photos my dad took in my photo album?

      ~ Seb

  18. Hi Seb, Great sebwite, I mean website. Great to read the site of a loyal six year old doggies supporter. I met Acker, Boyd and Rocket on separate occasions on my golf course and they were all really friendly. The Bulldogs are like one big family. See you later bro.

    • Hi,
Cool, you met Aker, Boyd & Rocket. I so hope I get to meet Aker one day. AS you may see in my photos that Ihave #21 on my jumper! Hopefully mum & dad will take me training one day, Rocket said I could come and watch.

    Woof woof!

  27. Hey Seb, it’s former bulldog legend Simon Garlick here. I absolutely love what you the job you have done with the site and can’t believe you are only 6. Most adults wouldn’t have a clue how to make a site like this. I was wondering what number you wear on your jumper Seb? I’ve got number 4 on my back for Daniel Cross.

    Go Doggies!

    • Hi Simon,
Thanks, my mum does most of the work – but I love to help her find new Doggies stuff to post. When I’m old enough I will take over and look after the site so she doesn’t have to. Can you guess what number I wear….. 21 Aker. I do also have another jumper with the # 2 Murphy.
      ~Seb

  28. Nice work Seb keep it going the Dogs are looking pretty genuine this year which is nice.

  29. Hi Seb,

    Carn the Doggies!!

  30. Hi Seb, just saw on the WOOF website that you had a website yourself – how fantastic! I started going to the footy to see the Bulldogs when I was about your age, and that’s a long time ago now! We are lucky to have such a fantastic club. I hope you don’t have to wait too long for a premiership – I think it’s getting pretty close :) Go Doggies, and keep up the good work on the website

  31. Hi Seb…nice work on the site! You’re a very clever 6-year old (I know, because I’m a teacher!)… I live in the Sth East suburbs too… keep up the good work mate!

  40. Hi Seb,

I’m a huge Doggies fan also. I live too far away to attend games. I live I Byron Bay, Norhern NSW. But I love to watch them on the TV.
You and your mum have a great Dogies site! Congratulations.

    Karen :)

  41. Hi Seb,

I really like your website. I wish I had one like it.

Who are you going to play for next year? I play for Werribee Centrals & wear the brightest green boots. My Dad says its easy to see me on the footy ground in them.

I see that Aker is your favourite player. I like Griff, oh & Callan Ward & also Shaun Higgins.

    Best wishes Seb from Ryan.

    • Hi Ryan,
Thanks. I’m going to be playing for the under 9’s Waverley Blues team. They are one of our local teams in the EDFL.
My dad says it’s a good idea that you wear green boots so they can spot you on the ground :)

Aker is my favorite, but I also like Murphy, Griffen and I enjoy watching big Will when he’s playing well.
      I like em all really!!
Mum told me that you got to go to the draft pick with your dad…..you were so luck. It must have been a great day.
      See ya round
      ~ Seb

This is a great page you and your mum have here :) I’m not a bulldogs fan but I am a footy fan and I can sure appreciate a great site when I see it!

    Good luck with the Auskick!

    Megan x

  45. Great website Seb. I am also a Doggies supporter and wear number 27 on my jumper. I play for Ashy Redbacks Under 12 and we are on top of the ladder. My Grandfather Kevin is a friend of your Grandfather Garry and they were at the match together last night, pity we weren’t at our best with a 1 point loss.
    Keep up the good work.

    GO DOGGIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    • Hey Lucas,
I say my ‘Poppy’ today and he told me that he went to the game with Kevin last night.
What a bummer it was that we lost only by 1 point!!! Thanks for checkin out my page. I wear number 21, but haven’t got to meet Aker yet. I have met Will a few times now though.
Maybe we’ll catch up with our gandfathers one day at a game.
      Catch you around.
      ~ Seb

  46. Congrats on the Auskicker of the round 16 mate!
    You deserve it =D

  47. Congratulations Seb, that is great news. I hope you have fun on the weekend- it will be a wonderful experience

  48. Seb, I just heard the news that you were selected as Auskicker of the week. What a great effort and very well deserved. You have been a terrific Auskicker and your football skills have been improving every week. Most importantly, I can tell you are having fun and that you absolutely love your footy. I’m sure Rodney Eade would love to coach you one day, as you are a pleasure to coach. We are lucky to have you as part of the Syndal South Waverley Blues Auskick team and maybe even the Bulldogs one day will be lucky enough to have you kicking goals for them. Well done little Acker, see you on Saturday. Your Coach – Tom.

    • Thanks Tom, Seb was wrapped that you are so pleased with him. He loves going to Auskick each week (even if he doesn’t concerntrate all the time!!! but that 6 year olds for you :) ) – and if it wasn’t for you and Trevor he wouldn’t have the methods and improvement in his skills that he has developed (and is always developing)….And with that comes the passion! He loves having you guys to coach him.
      Cheers,
      Jodie & Ben

  49. Hello Seb, my name is Benjamin, I live in Darwin. I won round 9 for Auskicker of the year and I like your website but I go for Essendon. I will see you at Melbourne at the grandfinal it will be so much fun.

    • Hi Benjamin,
My Dad’s name is Benjamin. We call him Ben – do people call you Ben too?
Thanks for visiting my site. My uncle goes for Essendon. I wonder who will win the game on Friday night between Dogs & Dons?
Well done on winning round 9! Did you get to come down to Melbourne to play on the MCG for that round – or did you get to do something in Darwin? I bet you love it when there are games held up there in Darwin. I have never been to Darwin, only as far as Alice Springs. I’d like to visit one day very much, as we have a friend who lives in Darwin.
It will be great to meet you on Grand Final week, I can’t wait. It will be so much fun :)
      ~ Seb

  50. Hi Seb,
Congratulations!! Well done.As the Organiser of your local Auskick I am so proud of you and pleased for you. Your love of the game is obvious from the way in which you participate at Auskick each week. I have seen your skills and confidence improve over the past two years. I have just been admiring your site – you and Mum have done a fabulous job.
See you on Saturday – Danielle

  51. Hey Seb,

Well done litte Acker on your Auskicker of the round win. Just awesome, hope you get a kick and bag a couple of goals on Sat. Looking forward to Fri night and hope that the bombers give you a run for your money. I must say that I have a soft spot for Robert Murphy after my son put him in his SuperCoach team last week and he got 101 points!!!! Well done Murph, keep up the good work.

See you Sat morning and congratulations

    Trevor (auskick)

  52. Hey there Seb,

Wow, just got some interesting news. I will try and tune into Ch10 on Sat night. Try a handstand if you can…..Will spread the word through school to lift the TV ratings. Those PE lessons have worked! Woof Woof Woof.

  55. Your a natural on tv mate, and you seem to play well on the MCG!
    Good stuff!!!

    • Thanks B-Rad,
I loved it. It was so much fun just running around on the G, it wouldn’t have mattered if I wasn’t playing footy. But thankfully I was :)
      Thanks for watching!
      ~ Seb

  56. We were travelling interstate on Saturday, in a motel in Albury, when I said that we had to watch the footy to see if the Auskick kids were on, and THERE YOU WERE!! I was so excited to see you there, you’re a natural. Well done.
What was the best part of your night?

    • Hi Jean,
Thanks for watching. There wasn’t one single best thing, it was all fantastic. But if I had too choose I guess just being able to run around on the G was the best. I just wanted to go back on after I came off. I hope I get to do it more often one day.
Now I just have to wait fort he Grand Final.

  57. Hi Seb, Great interview on channel 10, How do you think will go aganst the Saints on Saturday night. I believe we have a chance but we have to match them for the entire game. Lake/Riedwolt should be a great match up. You have one of the best fullbacks in Brian Lake and one of the best forwards in Nick Riedwolt. Anyway wondering where you are from as i know you play for the syndal waverley blues in auskick. Doggies 09!

    • Hi Jeremy,
Thanks for watching me on Ch10. It was lots of fun.
I have a feeling that the Dogs could provide the upset we are looking for. With 2 keys missing from the Saints and Lake agains Riedwolt, we shoudl be able to pull it off. As long as we don’t give them too much of a lead at the beginning. Will have to wait and see, but sure will be a good game.
I’m in Mount Waverley, and the Waverley Blues is the club that my family (grandpa and uncles) were involved with, so I go there too now. I have my first real game (not just auskick) on Sunday with the current under 9’s. I’m very excited about that!
You might already know this, but I just found out that the Dogs visit Wesley College (Glen Waverley) once a year and do some trainign for all their Eastern suburbs fans (East meets West training). Theu were there in Jan and apparntly might be back again around xmas pre-season.
Enjoy the game on Sat might :)

  58. Hi Seb,

I just found your Web Page and wanted to say that it looks fantastic. It’s great to see that you are so passionate about the Western bulldogs. I have a 4 and a half year old boy and an almost 2 year old girl who also love the doggies. We live in Glen Waverley.
Keep up the great work and maybe we will meet one day.

    • Hi Rebekah,
Thanks for checking out our site and leaving us a message.
Glad to hear there are some other Doggies fans out there, close to us too. We are in Mt Waverley!
The Doggies did a great job at the Gabba last night – we needed it.
Will your boy be doind auskick next year?
      Keep loving the Dogs :)

      ~ Seb and Mum (Jodie)

  59. Hi Seb…..Fantastic web page…you are really lucky…I am going to show it to my son Brodie who is 5 and loves the Doggies too….He goes to Auskick as well and is not too pleased that it is finishing soon! Brodie went to the train with the team day and had a fanctastic day….except when that rain started in the afternoon! His favourite players are Cooney and Aka. We are in the Eastern suburbs too in Boronia…Good Luck at the Grand Final we will look out for you…GO DOGGIES!

    • Hi,
Thanks for visiting. I’m sad that it is my last auskick this saturday, but I’m looking forward to next season already. Mum and dad said I can start playing for the under 9’s team next year too, so I’ll be doing auskick on Sat and playing matches on Sun. I can’t wait.
I hope you will be watching the grand final, even if the Dogs don’t make it. I am so excited about it, I’m counting down the days.
My favorite players are Aker, Murphy, Johnson and Griffen. I got a special present from my Poppy the other day – Aker’s jumper with his signature on it!! He had it all framed too…..it’s is so excellent. I will post a picture of it here soon, so keep check to see it.
      Thanks again :)
      ~ Seb

  60. Hi Seb, fantastic game and win against Collingwood to secure 3rd spot and play Geelong next week. My brother supports Collingwood so he was a bit down after the game but congratulated me and the Bulldogs so that was good from him. The Doggies now look like they have the form and could go all the way. The top 5 teams are all still in it in my opinion (St. Kilda, Geelong, Western Bullodgs, Collingwood and Adelaide). Great win and GO BULLDOGS

    • Hey Jeremy,
How exciting was that to win and get back to 3rd!!! Go Dogs!!!
They do seem to have great form at the moment and I just hope they can pull it off and be there for the Big Day. I hope they are cause as an Auskick winner I’ll be there on Grand Final day sharing the hallowed turf at half time. Then if they win I’ll get to present a medal to one of them….Oh I hope it’s Aker!!
      WOO HOO…. GoDOGS!!!
      ~ Seb (and mum)

  61. Hi Seb,

I saw a link to your site on the Western Bulldogs K9 Kids website and I just wanted to say I think you have done a great job! I really like your site. Go the Doggies!

    • Hi :)
Thanks for dropping by. Great win by the Dogs last night! Now we just need to take on the Saints the same way. Go Dogs!! Hope you like mu site, be sure to drop back often to see whats new. The K9 Club is great to isn’t it?
      ~ Seb

  62. Hi Seb, GO DOGGIES! last night. We controlled the game very well and now we are only one win away from our first grand final appearance since 1961 and two wins way from a premiership the last being in 1954. We first have to get past the St. Kilda in the prelim final we have to be at our absolute best if we are going to beat them. Mitch Hahn was very good last night kicking 4 goals, Brian Lake we must hang on to as he is one of the best fullbacks in the competition, Callan Ward is going to be a gun for us. Just curious and wanted to ask you how you started supporting the Western Bulldogs. I started going for them from 2001 it was Melbourne and the Western Bulldogs Friday night and the Doggies won by 30 points. I sort of was going for Melbourne back then but from that game ever since I have supported the the Doggies. I don’t know what it was but maybe the spirit and the never say die attitude pulled me to the Bulldogs. My Mum is a Melbourne supporter, My younger brother goes for Collingwood. So just wondering how it was for you

    Go Dogs

    Jeremy

    • Yep – awsome win last night. So close now, I have all my fingers crossed for the Grand Final game. I might just be able to give a medal to Aker after all!!
Cause I’m only 6… It’s my first full year as a full doggies member, but I started barracking for them I think cause my dad did when he was little. But mum tells me that it must just be in my blood cause they were never footy fans at all, not until I came along that is. They had nothing to do with me liking footy – I just do! She said that I have helped them become proper footy fans and now they love it too – like me! My mum used to barrack for Hawthorn (and still does deep down) but since helping me with this site she & dad are huge doggies fans too and we go to as many home games as possible.
My poppy goes for the dogs too, but my nanna & pa (mums parents) go for Melbourne. I have lots sof uncles who go for Collingwood, melbourne and the tigers. Oh and my little sister, who is only 4, says she goes for the Cats (just cause she likes cats!!)

  63. Hi Seb. Did you have a good time with me at the Grandfinal. I love all of the photos on your website. I hope you are a dog again. Im a bomber again. It was fun wasn’t it. Im still in Victoria and its freezing. Who did you put the medal on? I put it on Harry Taylor. He was playing with a broken hand. He did the most spoils and smoothers.Goodbye Seb from Benjamin

    • Hi Benjamin,
I had a great time with you at the Grand Final, it was so much fun. It was so cool to meet you and play footy with you, you’re a good player. I am a dog again now, but I like the cats too. I gave my cats stuff to my sister Steph and now we play matches, and she wears the cats stuff I wear my dogs stuff.
It is still really cold here, I hope it warms up again soon. At least it was sunny today and I got to play footy outside for a bit.
I put the medal on Andrew Mackie. People have been saying that Mackie helped win the game for them. I like Harry Taylor too, I can’t believe he played with a broken hand. That must have really hurt.
I can’t wait til we get the photos and stuff from the NAB people, they were nice too weren’t they.
Mum and Dad told me that we are going to come and visit you up in Darwin, I can’t wait!
      I’ll talk to you soon.
      From Seb

  64. Hi Seb,

Its Jordan, I met you at The Grand Final Experience, I love your photes of our weekend. Your dad takes great pictures. Hope to see you soon.

    From
    Jordan and Sandra (mum)

    • Hey Jordan,
Thanks for dropping by the site. There were so many photos to go through! I can’t wait to see what the NAB send us.
I can’t believe it’s been a week since the Grand Final already and we have to go back to school tomorrow :(
Oh well, I guess the next thing to look forward to is Christmas :)
It was great meeting you at the Grand Final experience, maybe we’ll see each other sometime, seeing as we don’t live to far away from each other!
      From Seb, Jodie & Ben

  65. Hey Jodie, its Kylie, Benjamins mum – how are you. I am just wondering if you or Ben know what they did with all the footballs that the kids signed? Benjamin wants to know. We have really enjoyed looking at all of your photos. We have some of Seb and Benjamin together and can email them if you like. Benjamin had a big first day back at school today, he took lots of newspaper clippings about Harry Taylor and took the ‘Record’ magazine to read in silent reading!! He has planned out where he is going to take Seb in Darwin one day – right down to what shop to get an icecream from!!! Bye for now, Kylie

    • Hi Guys,
Hope you enjoyed your stay in VIC. It’s freezing here AGAIN! I twas beautiful on the weekend and snowed (well – hailed alot) here today :(
With those footys, I heard something about them being given away in the ‘September Club’ which is where the kids visited just before the game. Aparantly it’s where all the celebrities hang out.
Seb’s well and truley back to school now and EVERYONE has mentioned about seeing him on TV. We bought the Grand Final Geelong DVD the other day so Seb has been watching that a bit.
It’d be great if you could email the photos of Seb and Benjamin, we’d love to see them (jsparke@optusnet.com.au) If there are any from photo’s you’ve seen on the site that you’s like a copy of just let me know and I’ll email them to you too.
It was really great meeting you guys and we are all looking forward to planning a trip to Darwin sometime soon.
      We’ll keep in touch :)
      Jodie & Ben

  67. Hi Seb
I have just seen your site and love it as I have just moved to sydney with my famly and have not heard much about the dogs or afl so it was good to see.

  68. Hello Seb,
Remember me? Dad keeps having to mow the lawn because it keeps raining to much so I can play football in the backyard. Merry Christmas, are you excited about Christmas? I am. I hope I get some Essendon things. There is a new captian for the Bombers, it is Jobe Watson, I was hoping that he would be the captain. I miss watching the footy on television so I watch replays that we recorded and the grandfinal souviner over and over again. I miss you, Its boiling up here and we go swimming lots, I get mum to throw an essendon 2 square ball to me in the pool so I can do screamers (spekes) in the pool.
    Merry Christmas
    from Benjamin
